Kerrang and NME DPS analysis.
A very simple layout :the 1st page is filled with one image of Dizzee Rascal letting the reader know the article is about him. On the 2nd page there is the by/headline which takes up half of the page, under it is an introduction to the article and then the article is split into 4 columns. All of this content on the 2nd page is on a water marked image. There is also a Tag in the top right corner of the 2nd page which says“Dizzee”–not very formal.
Headline–Very bold and some of the words have different font sizes such as “Tags” and “Riches” being bigger to represent the life of Dizzee rascal also relating to the images shown how he is tagging but wearing very stylish clothing at the same time. Text–A drop cap is used to start the article keeping the same whole style as the contents and the rest of the font is very small. Tag–The tag in the top right corner of the 2nd page says “Dizzee” this informally tells us that the article is about him other than the main image ,Being in formal it also shows us that Dizzee doesn’t always have to be a serious person. The hole double page spread aims to connect the reader with the artist in the article. The image and background is suited to this as Dizzee’s target audience would be at a younger age so having him seen tagging a wall and looking over his shoulder gives off a younger stereotypical look. This double page spread features many differences which makes it different compared to other double page spreads. The images and text are split, leaving one page for the main article and one page for the main image, and it features multiple images instead of just one that is focused on.
The layout of this double-page spread follows the conventions of a rock magazine as the article title is bold and in a decorative, sans-serifed font, with colours relating to the house-style of the magazine. The articles are in a white, sans-serifed font and are in column format, alongside a relating image.

Most of kerrangs and NME's DPS have a house style which gives the DPS strong and bold texts and also various fonts.
